Our staff has been able to engage coaches and athletes in diverse ways and various settings—challenging them to embrace a GREATER Plan for their lives – God’s Plan!

ENGAGE

We engage relationally by connecting with individuals and through events in many different environments by building genuine trust, sharing our lives and sharing the gospel. We strive to connect with coaches and athletes where they are on their spiritual journey. 

EQUIP

After cultivating relationships and once coaches and athletes come to faith in Christ, we want to equip them with Christ-centered training, events, resources and on-going support in what it means to be a follower of Christ, growing in God’s Word and applying it to life. 

EMPOWER

Once equipped, we empower faithful leaders who desire to use their time, talents and treasures to help other coaches and athletes experience the gospel, grow in their faith and share Him with others. We desire to develop disciples who make disciples, empowering other to know and grow in Christ.

The Home Team is a team of partners who provide prayer and financial support to individual FCA staff and ministry on a regular basis. A Home Team member helps underwrite the area’s ministry and operational budgets on an ongoing basis.


The Home Team’s success is dependent upon each member…

  • praying for the FCA ministry. 
  • providing financial support. 
  • promoting the Home Team in Central Indiana and inviting others to join. 

With the broad base support of an FCA Home Team, the Central IN staff is freed up to maximize ministry and the long-term stability and consistency of the ministry is strengthened.

MINISTRY IMPACT

Testimonies from our 2023 Summer Interns

One of my most impactful moments during this summer was at the Leadership Camp. The last night during worship many campers became emotional. I was handing out tissues and noticed a camper on his knees by the stage. I knelt beside him and began praying over him. I don’t know what he was going through, but I know God was calling me to pray for him during this time. It was through this event and others with FCA that I learned just how impactful and important prayer and a Christian community can be.


I was blessed with the opportunity to be a summer intern for FCA. This internship has made such a big impact on my life. I feel well-equipped to go out into my community and make disciples. God doesn’t do anything by accident! He has given me the amazing opportunity to spread His word to the kids around me at a sports camp. I am so thankful to have a part in their walk with Christ. God has also opened several doors for me this fall at Purdue as I lead a Bible Study with my team.



I was honored to be an FCA Intern. It was a blessing to work alongside so many committed to impacting the world for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Serving as a huddle leader at 5 different camps this summer, God not only spoke through me to my campers, but directly to me in ways I can be a better Christian myself. It changed my live!
